NEW! Bubbakoo's Burrito's on Glass House Lane

Bubbakoo's Burrito's just opened their 88th location, right off of Daryl Carter Pkwy in the O-Town West Village shopping center. Originally based out of New Jersey, they have begun expanding here in Orlando! I was so impressed with the freshness of each ingredient they used!

I was invited to check them out during their soft opening Sunday prior to their grand opening on Monday, and got to meet Bill, one of the Founders of the company. Him and his family just moved here from Jersey to help support their growing Florida market of stores.

I love that they cater to all dietary needs- with options for keto, vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian, with a great 'student' (kids) menu too. I tried their (vegan) create-your-own bowl with white rice (so flavorful!), black beans, and every single topping they had (guacamole, corn salsa, mild salsa, hot salsa, lettuce, and red onions). I also got a side of chips and salsa It was absolutely amazing! They also have a soda fountain with Pepsi products and pre-bottled drinks like soda, tea, and Gatorade.

I could have eaten the entire thing in one sitting, but I opted to try one of their signature desserts- Love Chips. Although the ingredients are 100% vegan friendly, they do cross-contaminate in the fryer, so they are not labeled 'vegan.' They made sure I knew this before offering them to me, and I was okay with that.

You have to try the Love Chips!! They cut their burritos into triangles, fry them, lightly coat them with powdered sugar... and half gets a caramel drizzle while the other half gets a raspberry drizzle. As much as I love caramel, I think I liked the raspberry better. It was great to alternate flavors- and I almost ate the entire plate myself. Their Fried Oreos also looked absolutely delicious, but I assume the dough used is not vegan-friendly.

The entire staff was super friendly, and they come around to check on you like a full-service restaurant. The modern Jersey beach decor was great- with some art deco skateboards along the walls and fun art like beach pics, instructions on how to eat a burrito, and a canvas about The Founders and how they got started.

They have great seating inside from tables, booths, and even a bar-like set up with TV's in addition to their patio tables with umbrellas out front. I was highly impressed with this whole experience- from the service to the food, and can't wait to go back! Have you tried Bubbakoo's Burritos yet?
