Last Minute Holiday Activities in January 2023

Whether you can't get enough holiday spirit or you didn't get a chance to celebrate- here are some fun holiday things still going on around Orlando!

1. Walt Disney World. One of my favorite places to visit (even before I moved here) was Disney Springs for the holidays. Although they begin taking down their decor tomorrow, (January 4th) it won't be completely taken down until Sunday (January 8th) at all locations. They have their infamous Christmas Tree Stroll on display at Disney Springs, plus each resort has their own themed Christmas tree in the lobby! It may be no surprise that Disney is the last to remove their holiday decor, but especially with their half marathon this weekend.

2. Lake Eola. This downtown wonderland was transformed over Christmas- with decorations around the entire lake! During December they hosted weekly holiday markets, live music, and actual 'snow' falls. Their holiday decor will be up through January 6th (Friday).

3. Asian Lantern Festival at The Central Florida Zoo. This festival of lights is running through January 15th! This may not be specific to one holiday, but they put on an amazing show of lights - from displays of animals to special decor, the entire festival is instagrammable.

4. SnowCat Ridge. They have tickets available each night this week through Friday, continuing on Saturdays and Sundays through February 26th. This has been high on my to-do list since last year! They have tubing down an icy slope, ice skating, food/drinks, and VIP igloos you can rent. I am so excited to try this out before they end in February!

Have you done these activities already, or do you plan to visit them again!?
