Florida Vintage Market at Ace Cafe Orlando

The Florida Vintage Market

July 25th, Ace Café Orlando 12:00 – 5:00PM

I am a sucker for thrifting, and I love supporting small businesses, so I was pumped when I found The Florida Vintage Market on Eventbrite would be here in Orlando. Last week at The Orlando Vegan Market, I bought some plants from Paula, the fun, young lady boss owner of Succa Me Up, who said she would be at the vintage market this coming weekend too!

I had never been there before, but it was very easy to find from I-4 and parking was free on site. I squeezed into a compact parking spot up front (yay for my Kia Soul, Minnie!) and we headed towards the pop-up tents. There were probably 25+ vendors from the parking lot into their event spaced outdoor patio. Most of the vendors were selling unique vintage clothing finds, some added their unique touch like embroidery and color, and some sold jewelry and plants. We browsed around our first walk through, and I was excited to find my new friend, Paula. We stopped by to say hello and of course I wanted to see what cute plants she had brought this time. My heart sunk when I saw the adorable panda bear succulent with a mini cactus! We chatted for a few minutes and finished circling around the event.

My friend found a unique tie-die shirt for $10 and a pink flamingo button down for $15. Lots of the vendors had a $5 or $10 rack, you never know what you will find! I went back to Succa Me Up and snagged that panda I wanted and also a turtle succulent. It was so cool to see what vintage finds these people had a passion for! One girl I met loved curating her own denim so much that she started sharing her passion with others.

I can’t wait to attend my next vintage event- it was like being at the coolest, biggest, most diverse thrift store ever. The next Florida Vintage Market will be on August 29th same place and same time. Hope to see you there!
