Guacamole is my favorite summer snack- it’s healthy, delicious, and super easy to make! I’m totally that girl who says, “Sorry I can’t tonight- my avocados are finally ripe!” You have a prime 24 hours of time once the avocado is perfect to eat – before it’s too hard and after it’s too soft and/or black.
First, I mince the bell peppers and slice the avocados in half (and remove the pits!).One of my favorite ways to make guacamole is with some bell peppers (yellow and red are my fave!) and whatever seasonings I have lying around. Today I used dashes of Garlic Powder and Onion Powder.
Then I mash the ingredients together in a mixing bowl with a spoon. I like keeping chunks of avocado in my guacamole - plus it's one less dish to clean! Next, I transfer the mashed guacamole to a cute bowl with some tortilla chips - and wah-lah! Delicious guacamole in less than five minutes. What your favorite way to eat avocado in the summer?
